Step into the magic of Frosty’s Forest Fair! Join us for a festive holiday celebration hosted by Mineral County Parks and Recreation. This enchanting event is the perfect way to immerse yourself in the holiday spirit, featuring dazzling Christmas lights, beautiful decorations, and activities for all ages.

What to Expect:

Christmas Light Displays: Rent a plot to create your own spectacular light display!
Festival of Trees: Stroll through a wonderland of trees decorated by local community members.
Holiday Activities: Enjoy Christmas hayrides, hot cocoa, cookies, and kids’ activities.
Photo Opportunities: Capture the magic with festive photo props and a special visit from Santa!

Admission is FREE for all three nights! Bring your family and friends to experience the joy of the season together.

Don't miss the Festival of Trees Auction on December 21 at 6:00 PM. Bid on beautifully decorated trees while supporting the improvement of parks at Fort Ashby Primary and Wiley Ford Primary Schools.

All proceeds from Frosty’s Forest Fair will go directly towards enhancing recreational spaces in our community. Your participation and contributions will help make this event a spectacular celebration of light and joy!

Light Display Spot 10x10 $22.34 You will get a blank space with three electrical outlets. We encourage you to be creative with your space. You can bring in old trucks, tractors, build displays but you can also use holiday blowups and props too. Remember that this will be viewed at night so please have them lit up. You are welcome to bring your own generator to power your spot if you think you will require more than the basic electricity provided. MCPRC have the right to remove any offensive or inappropriate decorations and we are not responsible for any lost or stolen materials.

Festival of Trees (I want to bring my own tree) FREE This option is to bring your own tree (Any size, real or artificial) to decorate in the festival of trees lot. This will be a gallery of Christmas trees that you will decorate for the public to view all three nights of the festival. On the third night of the festival (December 21st) the trees will be auctioned off to the highest bidder to take home. If for any reason the tree is not bid on in the auction, it will remain the property of the donor. The decorations have to be secure and able to survive all weather conditions as the trees will be kept outside. You will be responsible for all lights and decorations for your tree but MCPR will provide access to electricity to plug in lights. All proceeds from Frosty’s Forest Fair will go towards improving the new parks at Fort Ashby Primary and Wiley Ford Primary Schools, helping to enhance recreational spaces in our community.
Festival of Trees (MCPR provided live tree) FREE This option is to reserve a live tree provided by MCPR to decorate in the festival of trees lot. This will be a gallery of Christmas trees that you will decorate for the public to view all three nights of the festival. On the third night of the festival (December 21st) the trees will be auctioned off to the highest bidder to take home. If for any reason the tree is not bid on in the auction, it will remain the property of the donor. The decorations have to be secure and able to survive all weather conditions as the trees will be kept outside. MCPR will only provide the tree with stand and access to electric. You will be responsible for all lights and decorations.
